'Student Credit Card' scheme launched in education sector for bright future
Project Benefits:
Education loan up to a maximum of Tk 10 (ten) lakhs, with minimum simple interest per annum.
Students of West Bengal, who are studying from class 10 to higher secondary in any recognized school/madrasa of the country or abroad or college/university. Graduation / Post Graduation in Higher Education Institution. Pursuing professional/doctoral and post-doctoral courses or diploma courses, they will get education loan.
This education loan can be availed even if you study in various coaching institutes where IAS, IPS, WBCS or other competitive exam preparation is conducted for competitive exam training.
Course fees, hostel fees and other expenses can be paid through this loan.
• Maximum age limit for application is 40 (forty) years.
Salient features of the project:
Student Credit Cards and Loans from State Cooperative Banks, District Central Cooperative Banks, other Cooperative Banks authorized by State Cooperative Banks, State Owned Banks, Private Banks and Regional Rural Banks
can be found A student can apply for this loan at any time during the course.
A long period of 15 years will be available to repay this loan.
